Does anyone know enough Japanese to understand the role of the two or three guys commenting in the audience?
Reminds me of when I was in Japan, I was in a shopping mall in the middle of town, and there was a shop selling BDSM videos, books, etc. the place had advertising posters up in the front display windows just like any regular store here in the US.
Is it just me, or does the girl look really embarassed towards the end? There’s something about the looks on the faces of the woman being tied and the women in the audience towards the audience that seems not right. Especially when she’s led to kneel down and it looks as if she might cry.
The guy doing the rope work is a comedian. In the programme he was showing the audience what he learnt doing his previous part-time job. Probably as a bartender in an SM bar? In Japan the BDSM stuffs are not so much a taboo — not that everybody talks about it, but people don’t take it as seriously as in the western culture.
It’s conventional in Japanese shows to have several commentators. But in this short clip they did not say anything more interesting than the usual “oh”, “wow”, “amazing”..
And yes I do think the tied girl looks a bit embarrassed. :)
Perhaps the girl led to kneeling showed a little bit embarrased, but I think she has been used being tied-up and she ‘s really enjoying it.
