Metal Pillory

I thought this modern red steel pillory was novel; although it looks more like office furniture than dungeon furniture, it would certainly make for an interesting office!

Why can’t girls slip their hands out of these things? The hand holes always look so excessively wide, and girls hands are so slender. I routinely had an ex getting out of handcuffs because her wrists were so thin, which is why I ask.

I agree with boot bott. Plus most pillories you see need the girl to keep them from falling apart.

Also, sorry, this looks like wood to me. I see grain in the paint in spots. But I like the adjustable nature.

The ones they use on Infernal Restraints are certainly tight enough…
I’ve seen some movie footage where it appeared that the “captive’s” wrists had inches of clearance.

I absolutely, absolutely adore to be in these, and then be used… we have a wooden one, but it was custom made for me.
Just seeing this makes me want to be in it again, and no, when I am in it I am positively restrained, no way I can get my hands out – or my head

I can’t speak for all the equipment out there, but there are two reasons why I can’t get out of the pillory my bf has set up for me. One is cos the insides of the hand and neck holes are lined with fairly soft leather straps, fastened at the edge of the inside [elbow side] of the stock. If I try and pull my hand out, the leather wedges up and traps my wrist that much tighter, sort of like those woven Chinese thumb traps. The leather padding also means he doesn’t have to feel bad about keeping me in the damn things overnight or all weekend.

Second problem: On top of the crosspiece that pins my wrists and head there are eyebolts set into the top edge, just above my wrists. When he feels like it, he’ll hook one side of a pair of handcuffs through the eyebolt, then let it dangle down and snap the other side around my wrist. Even if I could somehow lift the crosspiece, which I can’t, my wrists would still be fastened to it, seperately. And even if I could somehow get a wrist free, my ankles are still cuffed seperately too. And all that inside a basement room, locked from the outside.

The point is, there’s nothing to do but try to pull or wriggle out, and after four or five hours, it’s guaranteed I’ll at least panic a little bit and fight the thing like hell. I get to cry, or yell, or beg, all alone, until I finally figure out that nope, I’m not going anywhere, and whatever I have coming once he gets back, there’s not a thing I can do about it but wait for it.

And so I do.

I can never get out of our pillory! Its heavy hardwood. Its rather hard on my neck and wrists. But worse when I am pilloried with my knees on the floor. Both hate and love being held in the pillory.
