That’s not actually a harem girl in the movie, that’s the character Ilsa herself. She was in charge of training the harem girls, and this is a scene where she has fallen in the sheik’s disfavor.
Ah, but is “harem girl” a situational identity, or something more profound?
There’s an argument to be made for the proposition that if you’re a girl and you’re chained up in a harem, you’re a harem girl, even if you were the trainer yesterday. ;-)
