Gemma Arterton In Bondage
Has anybody seen this movie? Because it kinda sounds promising:
She’s known for her sexy roles as a Bond girl and as one of the many naughty St Trinian’s schoolgirls.
And she plays the love interest in one of the year’s most anticipated blockbusters, Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time, opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.
But next month, Gemma Arterton will be seen in an entirely new light in the low-budget, gritty drama, The Disappearance Of Alice Creed.
In the role, the 24-year-old’s character is kidnapped, stripped naked, handcuffed and gagged — and the girl from Gravesend has to cry throughout.
‘There was a bit of resistance from some people wondering if it was a good idea for me to do this film,’ she tells GQ in an interview. ‘it’s quite violent, there’s nudity in it, it’s not a pretty film. But that’s why I wanted to do it.’
She spent up to eight hours in tears for Alice Creed and there are some scenes in which she wears nothing but a bag over her head.
Yes, I’ve seen the movie (I have the DVD), and it is well worth watching for reasons beyond the bondage. It has a cast of three (total), two of whom are international stars — Arterton, and Eddie Marsan (Inspector Lestrade in the Sherlock Holmes movies). There are indeed some nice bondage scenes that go well beyond what you usually see in a mainstream film — Arterton spends a considerable portion of the movie tied to a bed and ball-gagged, and there is another later bondage scene with Arterton handcuffed to a radiator, arms spread wide. There is nudity, though not enough in my opinion. (They went for the R rating.) But overall it’s a nice, plot-twisty movie with very satisfying bondage.
I have seen this movie and it seems to always come on at night(late)on showtime /encore family of channels.
It’s currently playing on one of hte local cable channels. I’ve seen the last hour or so, there was no nudity. I guess I need to watch again!
It’s a pretty good little movie. The nudity occurs shortly after the abduction, in the first half hour or so. It’s a good flick aside from the special interest for us here on this page. Another good movie along the same lines is “Sympathy”. The lead actress, Marina Shtelen, spends pretty much the whole movie handcuffed to a bed in a hotel room. No gags, and she’s no typical accepting hostage. Intense action. Check it out.
I’ve seen the movie and I agree it is well worth watching – great acting and plot PLUS good, believable bondage.
I was impressed that they dealt honestly with problems of human waste that most movies pretend don’t exist. People in long term bondage gotta go too. In fact, taking a shit becomes central to the plot (without being a scat film – don’t worry :-).
But they also skip right over a few issues that any practitioner of bondage will note. Arterton spends 2+ days wearing a LARGE ball gag. Anyone who’s tried to wear one for even an hour will understand the problem with that. Heck, anyone who’s had a root canal will understand.
The same with having her shoulders in a spread eagle position for that long.
Yet when they uncuff her and take out the ball gag, she just pops right up and starts talking.
But – other than that I found the movie quite good – and there is nudity and she has a very nice body (as do the guys for those of you that enjoy that view).
This is definatly one of the best D.I.D. movies I’ve seen in a long time (“Terror amoung us” being #1 I.M.O.)Artterton Does indeed spend the bulk of the film bound and gagged, but she is a true talent and she plays it well. Her bondage in the film making an already sexy woman even sexier. Her bondage is no Loosie award winner either. That ball-gag is TIGHT most of the time! So tight it gives her those cute “Chipmunk cheeks” in many scenes!
Yeah, I highly RECOMEND this one!
