This is pretty astonishing. Mortensen did this around 1930. And he found a model with a shaved bush?

It could also be post-production darkroom artistry; a lot of Mortensen’s stuff is fairly surreal and I have always assumed he was as much painter (on negatives when necessary) as he was photographer.
