This artwork is from the cover of a 1960s edition of The Collector by John Fowles. As sexual kidnap novels went, it was a bitter disappointment to my adolescent self; the protagonist was far too anguished about his misdeeds. But this cover, and similar ones from the era, were plenty eye-catching:
