Coin-Op Sex Slaves: Insert Coins To Play
The first time I ever encountered the notion of a coin-operated sex slave was — of course — in my furiously-wanking adolescence, reading a John Norman Gor novel. I no longer remember which of his many Counter-Earth chained-slavegirl extravaganza novels it was that introduced the idea that a master temporarily short of cash could lock a coin box around the neck of a slavegirl and chain her in a busily-trafficked area to peddle her ass, with punishments suitable if she failed to collect enough coins in the box before her master returned for her. Of course in a culture possessed of iron tools that glamorized stealing women to enslave them, there were obvious practical security problems with that model of sexwork that Norman never addressed, but still the notion stuck with me. It’s been illustrated, too, by at least one fan artist:
Amusingly, we now live in a culture where thousands of women voluntarily do online sex work for digital coins, no chains needed. A girl like bllueberrylove advertises that you can “control her pleasures” in real time — and you most assuredly can! But of course there remains a tension that any sophisticated BDSM practitioner can explain for you between fantasies of control enforced by physical bondage (rope and chains and shackles and whips) and the slightly more mundane (but still lots of fun, and eminently more practical) cooperation purchased in the marketplace.
The harsher fantasy space populated by the coin-operated bondage sex slaves has been well-illustrated by a variety of imaginative fetish artists. Apparently the idea of making small coin by tying your slavegirl in a vulnerable position in a high-traffic location with a welcoming sign and a receptacle for coins is a frequent fantasy, because it’s not at all hard to find art that illustrates it. Here’s a typical example:
It’s also not uncommon to see coin slots and access-control mechanisms (usually not very practical, or not very carefully rendered) in fantasy art of this sort. Here’s an example where there’s some sort of rings-and-labia constriction, but it’s not at all clear how putting coins in the slot would clear the decks for fun time:
There’s also an entire genre of “bondage girls as carnival rides and attractions” starring captive sex workers packaged attractively for the attentions of visitors at the sort of low carnivals that don’t actually happen outside the fantasy imagination. Here’s Playtime Penny, who no doubt makes good money for her operator, considering that she’s set up to serve two customers at the same time:
This post has barely scratched the surface of the coin-operated sex slaves fantasy art genre. But as you can see, it’s definitely a thing!
Excellent article! I wonder how many people dream about it from the side of the top, and how many put themselves in the role of the slave?
