Pillory Filth, Pillory Girl
It’s a matter of some uncertainty whether the poor state of this woman’s pants is because of how long she’s been locked in this kneeling pillory, or whether — as the state of her hair would argue — she’s been the target of filth while locked in it. To an extent she’s being a good sport either way; the pillory hand holes look large enough she could withdraw her hands at will. But it’s far from clear that her head would clear that neck hole, so she might be fixed pretty good:
