Showgirls In Prison
The caption on this showgirls photo from Cabaret Yearbook #3 (1956) tells us that the ladies are performing behind Venetian blinds, for reasons not made clear. But to my eye, it looks like they are locked in an elaborate burlesque prison cell, which suggests all kinds of entertaining possibilities:
