She looks like she got all dressed up for church, but the handcuffs spoil the look. In truth this is Patricia Hennessy as a defendant in court in 1988. She was one of the famous “Framingham Eight” — women who were sent to prison in Massachusetts for shooting their abusers and were at the heart of a clemency effort that ultimately had mixed results:
