American Crotch Rope
Even before a regular diet of exposure to Japanese porn taught American kinksters how to tie a rope harness that combines aesthetics with function (holding nice tight knots right against her clit and looking good doing it) our homeboys were at least making an attempt to combine bondage and sensation. Not for nothing were the homegrown efforts referred to as crotch ropes; the lack of euphony matches the 1980s sense of (lack of) style.
