1980s Bondage Stroke Books

There are plenty of F.E. Campbell bondage fiction excerpts and Robert Bishop stroke book covers in the Bondage Blog archives. Both are from books sold by House of Milan (sometimes HOM or H.O.M.) in the 70s and 80s, including the HIT and Fellowes series by Frank Campbell (the latter illustrated by “Ashley”). As near as I can tell, full page ads in the back of HOM bondage magazines were a primary sales channel. This one is from a 1982 magazine:

Moira’s Bondage Bastinado

Almost sixteen years ago I published this little Robert Bishop illustration featuring a well-tied girl about to suffer a lengthy session of bondage foot caning. It originally appeared on the cover of an F.E. Campbell HOM strokebook called Moira In Jeopardy, Part Two:

Unwelcome Bondage Tit-Licking

It does not appear that our gagged and strapped beauty entirely appreciates having her tits licked by a naked man. Which only demonstrates his excellent foresight in tying her up properly before getting friendly with his tongue:

Ropes Around Her Neck

There’s more than one way to get rid of a wife! This photo comes from a 1986 House of Milan (HOM) magazine photoshoot entitled Divorce Italian Style and it suggests a certain directness in the process of stowing away inconvenient spouses quietly in basements:

Tied For A Tit Flogging

vintage bondage for breast whipping

The bondage is a bit messy but the flogging menace to her tits is in that nifty old House of Milan style: sufficient to remind us all that doing mean stuff to people is one of the good reasons for tying them up in the first place.

PD Of Insex On His Bondage Influences

The legendary Insex.com creator PD provided a few lines of insight on his BDSM influences in a 2013 interview:

“My mother took me to see the Vincent Price movie House of Wax,” he says. “A woman is held down and covered in wax… You can imagine how that appeared to an 8-year-old boy.”

Later PD followed the work of pinup purveyor/Bettie Page promoter Irving Klaw and the fetish work of House of Milan and Sweet Gwendoline’s John Willie.

But it was after he dropped out of high school and joined the Navy for a 7-month destroyer deployment that he saw his first live bondage show in Tokyo.

“I had been through Guantanamo and Vietnam,” he says, “but to be fed sake by a giggling, tied-up girl influenced me. I was taking on the mantle of defending liberty in the Navy, and yet I saw how transgressive, taboo, and appealing this was.”

I could be wrong, but this looks to me like work from the old House of Milan (HOM) magazines, perhaps part of the “John Blakemore” oeuvre.
